John is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of R&D, Manufacturing, and Operations at Gentuity. He started at the company as the Senior VP of Product Development in 2015 and was promoted to his current position in 2020. John has held management roles at other medical device companies, including the Hewlett-Packard Ultrasound business unit, LightLab Imaging, and Volcano Corporation. He enjoys the exciting and dynamic medical device industry because it is devoted to helping people live better, healthier lives.

In his current role, John is passionate about creating something from nothing and then listening and responding to customer feedback to improve the product. He pays special attention to the small details which can make or break a product in the marketplace and knows that focusing on what’s important to the customer will create value. John brings a strong work ethic and high integrity to the office every day. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in the same from Stanford University.
